There's a young Spanish forward at Watford, getting goals and assists on a regular basis and looks fitter and more mobile than most of our forward line. He's still only 24 too.
I guess you mean that whopper who has had 4 clubs in 2 years, that's bad for a manager, horrendous for a player. Why on earth would we sign that donkey for a third time? he is not even that good.

He should still be on our books. He's more of a goal threat than everyone we have out wide apart from Richarlison. He also gets a lot more assists than anyone we have. He proved that with us and now Watford.

The 4231 is too predictable, stale and ultimately not a formation any of the top teams play with regularity.

4123 is the way forward and we will want to finish summer with:

Pickford
(Stek)

Coleman ...... New CB ........ Mina ...... Digne
(Kenny) ........ (Keane) .......... (Holgate) ....... (Baines)

New CDM
(Gomes)

New CM ...................... Sigurdsson
(Davies) ..................... (New creative CM)

Richarlison ................... New Striker ................. Bernard
(New winger) ............................. (DCL) ....................... (Lookman)

With Dowell, Virginia, possibly one of Schneiderlin/McCarthy, Feeney and hopefully Onyekuru as squad options.

This means shifting all of our loaned out players except Holgate and Dowell, and also getting rid of Walcott, Tosun, Gueye and Schneiderlin/McCarthy in order to fund this. Also signing Gomes permanently and not signing Zouma.

This is very optimistic however, anything close to this and I would be delighted

Barcelona exercised the clause in his contract. Not sure we had a choice TBH.

Thought Silva's preferred option was 4,3,3

Couldn't be further away from sentimental chief. The jobs for the Ole boys grates on me with a passion.

Why would you want Geri back then, he’s failed here twice. If he was that good he would have been successful with Barca or Milan.

And it’s not a case of he’s better than Walcott which he may well be in some peoples eyes and that’s fine. Personally they both aren’t good enough for us to move forward
