I said this was his first good season compared to Lozano’s 2-3.

And I wouldn’t even say it was “outstanding” he burst onto the scene fast I’ll admit that but the team was outstanding and the argument can be made that he was riding that wave to an extent.

Didn’t he have 14 goals and 11 assists last year? Neres is a terrific talent.
League: 8 goals 8 assists
CL: 2 goals 2 assist
Domestic cup: 1 assist
Total: 10 goals 11 assists
According to Transfermarkt he got 12 goals and 15 assists in all comps this season:

And he got and 15 goals and 14 assists in 17/18:

Did I hear 16 goals and 15 assists at the back of the room, any more bidders?

Going, Going....

Somewhat interestingly the same site has the top value players as

1 -- De Jong £76.5mil
2 -- De Ligt £67.5mil
3 -- Neres £40.5mil
4 -- Lozano £36mil
5 -- Ziyech £36mil

TheMoleBoss again
I think Jordan will stay. However,if Man Utd or Spurs(the two clubs that want Jordan) sell De Gea or Lloris, they will come for Pickford and the replacement that Everton want in that situation, is Jasper Cillessen. But at this moment, no negociations are taking place for anybody...I reckon that Jordan will stay

1 -- You quoted an article on vital football saying his value was 17mil....

2 -- I think most of the forum knows who Lozano / Neres are...

3 -- PSV and Ajax arent participating in the same market...unless you count them both being Dutch?

One team was a whisker away from the Champions League final and earnt a fortune from that and so are able to ask whatever price they desire seeing as De Jong and soon De Ligt will bring in a huge pot for them. They will be cash rich.

So its not a 'mute' point and neither is it a 'moot' point ;)

4 -- Players have other attributes other than on the pitch...knowing they get along with other players in the team has to be a positive.

In short, Ajax can ask whatever they want for the player and if Brands and Silva see something which can benefit the squad worthy of that fee then they will try and sign him.

Indeed he did + thats now recognised by Brazil, a team Malcom has yet to be capped by...and yet valued at a similar amount.
1. Correction: the article says that’s what we’d need to pay for the loan. His actual value is close to £100m

2. If we all know them then how do you explain Neres being worth the £40m over Lozano

3. It’s the same World transfer market. Everyone is included. Even the Sunday league team from down the street are included if someone wants to pay for the player... can’t believe that was even argued

Ajax actually are only guaranteed £27.6m from reaching the semi finals which is far from a fortune these days. And they can ask for 7 skittles, a big Mac, and a used condom for De Ligt and Frenkie doesn’t mean they’ll get it. But wait weren’t we talking Neres and how what they were asking for more than what his brings to the pitch which makes him overpriced?

And sorry but here in America we say mute point (being serious and not funny... for real)

4. £40m seems to be a bit much for the teams best bud no? Mama always told me you can’t buy your friends.

Well you've covered all bases there.
