He's most probably not going to be good enough for us, but he's not bad. If he was bad he wouldn't have 7 full international caps as a 21 yo and Wigan wouldn't be interested in buying him. As I said, we need to start getting decent money for our better academy players.
For the United States not France.

Cuco Martina good start for USA. Yedlin already does.

Probably a lot cheaper than the more established alternatives too. Depends whether he can do it in the prem but you can say the same about most coming in from abroad too. There'll be an element of risk but how much depends on the price.

Strangely what I like about the videos I just watched is his work rate and his upper body strength. Too often these left footers are a bit lightweight and find the prem too physical for them, but I think this lad will be fine in that regard.

Proper Brighton signing.

Gomes is practically done, and we’re getting him at a real bargain price, but with some fierce add ons.
Zouma is 70-30 not going to happen, but we remain very interested, however we have 2 possible alternatives in mind if it doesn’t happen.
Brands is looking to bolster the front line. There was serious interest in Neres, but he’s walking away at the price quoted. Gaich is available but brands has other targets he wants to pursue first.
In midfield sosa is a done deal depending on the work permit but he’s seen as one for the future and won’t necessarily feature this season.
We are in advanced negotiations for a PSv right back. He will play understudy to Seamus this season with a view to taking over next.
Outgoings are proving difficult and it appears that more will be loaned than sold.

Possibly
Part 1 nearly there. Don't say you weren't told. #saucedtothemax

Kin ell. Thought he was meant to be decent?

Beginning to think we should lash our academy into a big skip.

He looked really good at one point but you watch him consistently and see through it. I've advocated for a switch to CB but he continues to play LB for some reason.

Athletic build with pace. Will carve out a career cos he's American but not good enough for us.

USA are FIFA ranked 30th. Not 300th

Martina?. OK mate.

Yedlin is first choice right back for a premier team that took 4 points off us last season and he's about 25. Robinson is 21.

I'm not saying the lad is special or anything. I'm not even saying we should be keeping hold of him. I'm just saying that we should be getting bigger transfer fees than we currently do for our better academy players. Other clubs do.

....I think we have to define the Academy. For me, it’s the players who have come through the ranks as Everton youngsters and not been bought in. Robinson is an Academy player, but there is a shift when you consider the make-up of last years U23 title winning squad.

Many of that team have been brought in at a cost (Virginia, Gibson, Hornby, Bowler, Adeniran et al). So there is a blend of Academy and purchased youngsters. The strategy seems to be working, Jonjo Kenny and Tom Davies have come through from the Academy in recent times; Holgate, Stones, Galloway, Lookman are youngsters bought in who have gone on to be first teamers.

I think an analysis indicates the strategy is working.

21 year old who already has 7 full International caps for USA. £2m is a joke.

Was developing well last season until his injury. The fact Wigan want to keep him speaks for itself. I'd send him there on loan again as we have Baines as back up, and see how he does.
Anyone who wears dungarees and spits tobacco can get a cap for the USMNT

Have you watched any of his USA caps? They desperately want him to be the guy but he is really not to that level or even close. I don't see him being a Premier League player honestly.

Its a team full of Championship and MLS players with Pulisic the only one with some quality.

He's a lad with a year or so left on his contract and he's only played as high as the Championship. We're lucky to get a fee at all.

Yanks don't half overrate their players because they batter the likes of Panama and Cuba.
