Highly doubt we'd want Tierney as a right back? The only other thing I could see, if there was interest would be that baines only has 1 year, so Tierney could either be loaned out for one year, or as I said kept as right back, and then also left back backup next season. For £15m or so that'd be decent business, but doesn't seem like it'd be that low so this seems a definite non - starter, especially when you consider the cillesen links which defy any common sense.

I still believe Mitrovic would represent great value if he could be bought for £15 - £20m.

Goodison cult hero in the making that lad. Good age too. He’ll bring those around him into the game with his excellent hold up play.

He divides opinion as do 90% of strikers but ‘reasonably’ proven players in that position are hard to come by for the right money.

It’s either someone like that or we finally break the bank, send a message and go for a Werner / Icardi type.

We can’t go into another PL campaign with a young hope up top.

I actually thought the season that Suarez got him sent off by diving (later rescinded) he was developing into the player we hoped for, got into the England team. Injuries ruined his career.

Les Ferdinand - scored more against us than any other club. Read years ago he turned us down because of the racist reputation.

Really turning into the type of player I’d like so see in our midfield. I think with a little more positional consistency he’ll be a very very solid signing.

Yeh I’ve never seen him in defence but he isn’t more that way inclined.

He was playing almost as a box to box by the end of the year. His foot skills are quite good. I guess he played a bit of CB last year, but yeah, I've definitely never seen him in defense.
