No they don’t you’re right but it’s idiots arguing and being petty who stink the place out and ruin it for people who actually come on here for the topic
I’m sure you realise that the Thread title bears little or no resemblance to the thread content
If it wasn’t for @Eggs contributions we could call in the Anything you want thread

.....it’s 25th June, it’s Tuesday Toffee transfer rumours time, so here’s what’s being said this morning;

- Mundo Deportivo suggest Andre Gomes’ move to Everton is imminent, with Barcelona expecting to finalise the paperwork and announce the transfer ‘immediately’. Meanwhile, The Star say Marco Silva has told his club he wants Kurt Zouma secured on a long-term contract, but it’s unclear if the French international will move as Chelsea are unable to draft in new faces this summer.

- Football Insider report Marcel Brands is about to ramp up Everton’s interest in Lyon winger, Bertrand Traore. The 23 year old Burkina Faso international will be the subject of a £25m bid.

- According to Birmingham Live, Everton have joined Aston Villa in the race for Bristol City Centre Back, Adam Webster. Bristol boss, Lee Johnson, has denied the 24 year old has a £12m release clause in his contract.

- Corriero dello Sport say Juventus could do a ‘u-turn’ on their decision to give Everton target, Moise Kean, a new contract. The striker turned up late for a team meeting whilst on U21 international duty and was disciplined by being dropped for their next game.

- Get France Football News say Allan Saint-Maximin is close to agreeing personal terms with Newcastle. The 22 year old Nice winger has been linked with Everton.

- Everton target, Rafael Leao, could leave Lille this summer according to his agent. Speaking to Foot Mercato about the 20 year old Portuguese striker, Louis Campos said: “Rafael Leao is a player with a lot of future, our idea is to keep him here but if there are irrefutable proposals, we can’t say no”.

- Tuttosport again report Everton have registered their interest in signing Torino’s 27 year old defender, Armano Izzo, whilst FotoSpor say Besiktas are still looking to make a loan move for Toffee’s 28 year old striker, Cenk Tosun.
Seeing more links with Wylan Cyprien lately and Kean is apparently not happy anymore due to a falling out between him and the club for missing a team activity while he was on his way back from U21 duties.

Traore seems to be the name coming up again and again . See. Some posts on here criticizing him. I know absolutely nothing about him be it his football abilities or him as a person but I genuinely trust both Brands and Silva to target the right type of player, both in football ability and personality. So instead of criticizing the choices they make let’s row in behind them . This season could be a very very interesting one as a blues fan .. Whoever does come in and whoever does go out let’s support the decision that has been made
Are you sure you are posting this on the right forum lol

I'd be in favor of having two threads, one for serious transfer talk and another for the rest of the conversation
The thing is, there isn't any 'serious' transfer talk at the moment, and hasn't been all summer. People just naming random players they'd like us to sign isn't really transfer talk, so either nobody posts at all, or you get some of the crazy stuff we've seen in recent days. Obviously it's up to the mods whether they like the thread like this or not, but I don't really understand the people (not you) crying about people not talking about all the transfers that aren't happening.
