He has one year left on his contract. They could potentially lose him for nothing in a year. They're not exactly in a position of strength here. I'd tell them to whistle on any buyback clause. Let it be known we will happily wait if they don't want to agree to a sensible deal now. A buyback clause like this will just end up like a loan.

I doubt he was trying to be racist mate. Maybe suggesting that a young black person in a notoriously racist country would no doubt worship a black player playing for Italys biggest club.
