I don't know if I go as far as you but I also don't rate Umtiti very highly. I'd rather we just brought Zouma back and kept our backline together than signed him.

Agreed , we won so many games 1-0 and are the only team ever to finish in the CL places with a - goal difference. You can’t use that season or Leicester etc as an example to follow as it doesn’t happen often enough. We need goals to compete , we didn’t even get Europa this year , ironically an extra 10 goals from our striker probably would have secured this

Funnily enough out of all the ex-Barca players we've signed Sandro was the only one who actually played well before we signed him and he's turned out by far the worst.

I think the difference is Sandro was never purchased by Barca, as well as he was never wanted once he was no longer a youth player. Thats completely different from the other Barca signings we have. Its one thing to come up through Barca's academy, where they dont expect to ever want many of them to be Barca players, and its another thing to be purchased by Barca as a professional, where you are wanted by them and they are willing to shell out a significant sum of money for you.

Define a 'credible' rumour...you cant. The nature of a rumour is that it isnt fact or totally credible.
