Just hope we get a striker and Zouma/whoever in before the pre season games properly kick in to get the front 3 used to one another alongside the defence drilled.

I'll be annoyed if as usual we sacrifice the first half dozen or so games getting the players bedded in which should be done in pre season.

I wouldn't sell Walcott. He's ok as a squad player who will guarantee you 4 or 5 goals over a season, or even closer to 10 on a very good one.

He guarantees you 5 goals if he plays 30 games and also guarantees that I shout at my tv and nearly smash it 10 times a season or 90% of the time he’s 1-1 with the keeper.

I meant down the road. He's 100% going to make a sideways step at the very least. It wouldn't shock me if he ended up going straight to a club that is better than us. And yes that includes FC Energy Drink.

Reckon he will make a step up when he leaves , probably westham :)

Joe Williams is likely to be sold despite me having high hopes for him. I've no idea where he plays and if he's any good but I've built up this myth in my head that he's our saviour so I'll be sad to see him go.

Bolasie is still floating about masquerading as a footballer but with a bit of luck his financing of a rap career will ruin him financially and we'll soon be able to beat him up in a shop doorway.

Kurt Zouma is staying at Chelsea as he's intrigued by Frank Lampard and how he looks like he should be fat but is actually slim.

Despite the protestations of 40 new Turkish forum members Tosun has been found out and is likely to head home to Turkey to work as security in the Saudi embassy.

Martina has been seen trying to get into the skin of Seamus Coleman in a desperate bid to regain his place in the starting XI.

I’m the opposite mate, I also have never seen him play and wouldn’t even know what he looked like, despite that I have already decided he should be shot out of a cannon to stoke, this is soley due to his surname I can’t read that name anymore without having nightmares

It's massively important. United and Chelsea both have clowns for managers and Arsenal have two strikers, no money and no one else. It's early but this looks like the most open race for fourth in years. We can't start slow.

Race for 4th? We were 18 points of 6th last time mate

Bernard was dropped for long periods at Shaktar by Lucescu for being unprofessional, this included turning up late for training and not putting the requisite effort in. Bernard decided to step up.

I coach sport at a much lower level (that where I’m going now at this mad hour!) but I’ve learned over time that no matter how talented the athlete, if their commitment/attitude etc isn’t whats required, it’s best for the group as a whole, that the individual plies their trade elsewhere.

It’s hard to know exactly what’s going on with this kid and indeed it would be a shame if he did leave, only to go on to become what many feel he could.

You have basically re worded the “ hard work bests talent when talent doesn’t work hard “ from the Everton cafeteria. Your brands are you? Oh... you said lower level.... you’re unsworth?

“In a 7 game series”

Honestly, you folks don’t help yourself do you.

A seven game “world” series that is only played in a single sountry that ensures the winner qualifies for the Monday night division playoffs that take place this fall. All franchises must have their drafts finalised before multi team rosters selection at the end of the off season.

I've liked that post, but think apart from Zouma of course, it's more important to get the right striker in. The priority, in fact the bare minimum I expect is Zouma or an equal centre back and a class goal scoring centre forward. Anything less will be failure, anything more a bonus.

That's the funny thing, Arsenal finished 17 pts ahead of us, Man U 15 pts, and Chelsea 18 pts, and they supposedly were all piss poor in the prem last season, yet we think we can reel them in. Our biggest problem has always been consistency, we have to sort that out big style to even get close to those teams.
