Does make you wonder if Rooney's return was of similar thinking to signing Costa & actually came from the Mosh too. Most of us had it down to Kenwright getting all emotional.

No point even pretending he isnt a better player. But recent history of owners foisting players on a coach/DOF isnt pretty reading. If Brands and Silva want him, sound. If Moshiri wants a headline, no thanks.

Any evidence of this even having a chance though? I’d like him here, especially if it was a year long deal or two years, I’d love to have his snide in our team. Don’t think he really fits the silva/brands profile.
