possibly, but we have young players that can improve...hopefully richarlison will kick on

and the likes of bernard and gomes will have had a full pre-season

signings dont guarantee anything either
Hopefully and if we get our form going like we did at the end of the season.
Maybe I am being a miserable sod, I just think we lack depth and cutting edge even with the potential of those you mentioned. For instance, who can come off our bench currently and make an impact in the final third? You have Theo, Tosun and Lookman all of them are inconsistent.

Having options with a lot of our players is utterly sensual though, isn't it?

It's the polar opposite of playing that yard dog Bolasie who is least dog turd wide left only, or sticking Walcott wide right as that's the only position he can be at least semi effective.

Yeah, and it helps when we hit a run of injuries, but I'd rather us find a Gol Gol Gol scorer than a winger just because we hope the Richarlison up-top experiment can work again.

Absolutely Sir. We desperately need that top slotter.

I dont know much about Esk other that the abuse I see that he gets on here. But I have reviewed his overview of the Everton accounts and he is missing a lot of key information for him to come to his conclusions. Does he proclaim to be a chartered account etc?

No, but he did run several successful businesses over the years.

Thing is though, im sure there are folks on here that have their own business and run them very well but that does'nt make them an expert on sports admin and the inner workings of a PL football club.

He's missing the key fact that we have about 20 players we can release or sell for low to medium fees. Some of them on fairly large wages, perhaps 50k a week. Some I dread to think of....

That saves easily 8 figures a year on wages alone.

We don't need to sell any key players. It's probably essentially though that we offload many of the players who are surplus. It makes total football sense to do so as well nevermind just financially.

If we move Bernard inside then that displaces Sigurdsson so that won't happen

Not a fan of Richarlison up top when he demands attention out wide and open things up for others

I agree with you but I think Silva sees Richarlison as a number 9, it was the lack of form from Walcott and Lookman after both being given a go in the RW position that led to Richarlison being moved out there. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a short term plan to find a decent right winger and move Richarlison to 9 if no credible striking options within budget present themselves this summer.

It's a shame he gets abuse, really is, because he's not a bad lad and he was always polite on here.

It just so happens that he lost his mind and became a serial liar, but it's the internet so I don't get why people take it personal.

I think that’s a fair assessment.

I so find it strange that we’ve not really been linked with any strikers either. I don’t really take many links seriously because Brands has it on lockdown but I can only name Gaich as a striker link.

I am not on twitter, so only see the occasional post on here.

A WARNING:

As many of you know, I have been receiving very up to date information on transfer. My source got Gomes and Jagielka correct, I passed this on to you in good time all through the same source.

However, the person is now asking for bitcoin for information. I said no, but he is now hounding me. I have blocked him but please be vigilant.

I pass my information on for free, others should too.
Put your source in touch with a nigerian prince

Leicester signed Tielemans, they look like big competition for the seventh-placed trophy with us and Wolves...how exciting...(tongue in cheek here)

I think the places up for grabs are up to 5th with the UTD, CHelsea and arse situations. I also agree that Leicester will do very well, not so sure about Wolves though.
