Wildly optimistic this. Lookman's only taker last summer was willing to buy for roughly the £15m-£20m mark and we were more interested in closer to £30m. He hasn't done much to raise his price since.

Onyekuru, let's be generous and say we'd get about £20m-£25m for him based on his links to Bayern Munich and how much they we were willing to pay for Hudson-Odoi.

Vlasic has had a loan spell at CSKA Moscow since his £10m move to Everton and has done okay at best. I can't see many clubs paying much more than that for him now.

So tippy top we'd get for them is £40m-£50m if they each had cash rich buyers lined up (maybe). None of this current squad would go for big money. None of them have done well enough in the past two seasons to warrant a big bid from another club.
I think we will be lucky to get 50m for the three... if they are sold. That would still be a healthy profit and generate some much needed funds . Matthem Pennington may also command a fee but of the other young players will struggle to command a fee.
Tosun, Schneiderlin,Gueye and Besic are another four that may be sold and could generate up to 60m.
James McCarthy may also have some value but I am not convinced he will be sold.

I think other than those it is largely about getting wages paid by somebody else.

The problem we've got is not getting halfway decent fees for most of them. The problem is that they're all on salaries which are way and above their contribution and what any buying club would be willing to offer them.

Loads of clubs would take Schneiderlin for example but next to none would pay him £100K+ p/w. We're likely to see a lot of players loaned again rather than sold outright just to get their wages off the books.

Not sure what more Vlasic could have done?

Hes rated as the best player in the league...

Surely you recognise a tongue-in-cheek comment when you see one?

But, that game aside, are you happier with our midfield options now Ross plays for Chelsea? I’m not.
I didnt, and now feel a tool.

But yes i am. I think Barkley was overhyped and lazy.

if you want to begrudge paying Gomes that someone else will. He was on that at barca because he deserved it. He deserves it now he's top class. We want to progress we need players like him.
He’s on that at Barca for the same reason Sandro is on what he is here at Everton..

Top class? Maybe in some way but physically he's really not even close.

He has been up for grabs a season and a half after he arrived at Barca... if there were other suitors he would have sailed to newer shores sooner.

Wasn't there an article the other day saying that despite that winner against Real Madrid, he's actually been inconsistent and needs to work harder?

Can't confess to have watched him much in Russia but when you see reports like that you can't imagine he's doubling and trebling his value.

Seen a few outlets mention this one today.

I assume it’s guff though, usually is when they try to shoehorn some sort of false rivalry between West Ham/Leicester in there as well.

Not sure about that Zat.
Vlasic getting a bit of flak in the press the other day .
Saying despite him doing well in the Champions lge and even scored agst Real Madrid , he just does not do enough at club level.
Genuine question, rated by who/what? I don't watch the Russian league but his goal/assist record isn't particularly impressive so I assumed he wasn't doing too well over there.
