Can I just say I hope we sign Zaha for the simple reason I think that utter buffoon Alan Brazil’s off talksport head might explode as his disgust at Everton’s interest was quite apparent when he was made aware of it...almost like a how dare we try snatch a player from his beloved “The Arsenal”

I really am surprised that anyone believes that Delph has agreed to move here without assurances regarding playing time.

I agree. He improves us no doubt but for that price it should be either a player who takes us up a level or a player who could develop into someone who takes us up. Zaha is 26 so he's probably at his peak, and unless playing in a slightly better attacking team is going to unlock a different level of consistency from him, he has never shown to be someone who can push a team toward the CL.

I just don't like the idea, he's a very good EPL player with pretty good stats. But hugely over priced it reminds me of other deals we have done when Walsh was here. We need a striker more desperately for me. For 70m you want someone who has the potential to notch twenty goals and double digit assists for me.
