You may laugh but on his day Theo has both pace and finishing as shown with the goal against United, as a bench option goes he’s not a bad one

Meh I used to think that. But he stunk the gaff out for long periods last season.

Sick of seeing him sprinting after his own heavy touches or passing the ball behind his teammate when we're on a break

I heard the name Zaha...
Instantly i said no thanks
Then i qualified it by saying he dives nearly as much as Salah
Then i thought what is the hype?
Then i looked at his numbers and thought meh DCL will outdo that
Then i made a fatal mistake

I watched a highlight vid, now i kind of want him ffs.... amazing with the ball can pick out a pass can create from nothing, can slot

Not sure about as an out and out #9 but with Keane up front, Richarlison Bernard and Zaha rotating the wings... he could also play siggy’s role as alot of the highlights are him dropping really deep to gain possession then getting the attack going

Can’t believe i just openly and publicly admitted to liking Zaha ... i thought i was relaxed about this window

Maybe this is the first cracks in my senses

Ideal world he would have been dropped a lot earlier that he did but the only back up was a lad who didn’t want to be here

They've taken that bid off the yellow ticker on sky very quickly for a 60m bid.

Hopefully because it's bs, or maybe just because it's not one of their beloved six who've made the bid.

It's so very quiet. And we need to be very active. Currently weaker squad than last season when we finished 8th. Leicester have improved their squad, West Ham too. Wolves will be even more solid this season.

Currently need a new CM and new ST for the starting XI, and arguably a new CB too, definitely one for the squad.

The feel-good factor is there with the stadium, but hopefully this isn't just to cover up our transfer failings.

£60m + Tosun?

If we still have cash available for a CB, ST, RB and CDM then sure. If not, no thank you.

Exactly, let’s do what we did under Walsh - buy 4 players for the same position when we clearly need men in other areas.

And for me, Malcom is ire appealing than Zaha (if either are true) because we wanted him last year, and he’s young, and his first name isn’t Wilfred.

There's 2 weeks of the transfer window left.

This time last season we'd made one signing.

I don't care how many times you have to read this, I'm going to make sure you keep doing so until it sinks in.

As will we. We still need signings yes but the fact that Silva has now had a full year to work with the players and implement his ideas shouldnt be underestimated

Maybe he's seen as a centre forward?

Bernard - Zaha - Richarlison

No that I'm confident that guy with career high of 11 goals should be a remedy to our attacking woes.

I think Silva sees Richarlison as a centre forward. Bernard-Richarlison-Zaha interchangeable, with Walcott and DCL in reserve.. That's some attacking force, with Gomes slotting through to them. and Siggy picking up at the edge of the box. Wow!! We may still get a replacement for Gueye but Delph can play his role if needed, and with a bit more attacking quality.
