Announcements always take longer than fans think

I remember ages ago when that fella popped up in here saying we’d signed Mirallas done and dusted out of the blue and it took about a week for a paper to even say we were interested and then another 2 for Everton to actually confirm the deal so i can believe that.

He called quite a few things him but he ended up getting hounded out of here if I recall correctly.

He had a mate at the club. His mate moved on, but he still kept the ITK stuff up, iirc. Or that might have been a different one. We actually had a few decent ones when Goodison was leaky as a sieve.

Agreed, for that price we could probably get better value, although there aren't many as good as him that would want to join us.

I don't think we're very high on his list either.
