Doubt Ziyech is available for £25m and not certain he would be a success. Look at Tadic - world beater in the Eredivisie but out of his depth in the Prem at Southampton. Klaasen likewise. As for Malcom just not sure that there is any evidence that lives up to the hype. Did OK at Bordeaux, but didn't set the world alight and definitely hasn't at Barcelona who seem to want shot after a year.

For every Klassen there is a Suarez. Tadic moved from a dominant team to a turd team.

No guarantee that zaha will play well here. We play a different style to palace. In the same way Pienaar was turd for spurs when he left us.

And we already have Richarlison in Zaha’s role: they both dive, they both are right footed and as Marco likes right footed left wingers and left footed right wingers, paying 60m for a wide player who IMO would be 3rd choice currently seems foolish, no?

Zaha and Richarlison are not really similar though. Zaha is much more a traditional winger who can play up front because of his stature and ability on the ball.

Richarlison's strength comes from getting himself into the area and on the end of things, and his movement off defenders. He's not a player you want to see dribbling past four players out wide and getting a cross in.

Imagine we sell Gana tomorrow and all our other deals fall through.

Night.

If we spunk 60m on zaha to be our forward, you’d be happy with that?

Zaha plays well in a counter attaching team and is bang average when other teams sit back. We don’t need to be better in counter, we need to be better in breaking down 2 banks of 4.

No surprise palace were dreadful at home.

Also zaha... he tends to dribble past one then fling himself to the ground to pick up fouls. Won’t get that with us.
