Just for fun, here are the latest odds on some players to join us:

Zaha. 1/3
Welbeck. 1/2
Kean. 2/7
Neres. 3/1
Lemina. 5/2
Rojo. 4/1
Phil Jones. 5/1

Everton are favourites in all cases.
surprised there is not another 30 midfielders there or more,as we always get linked to so many

Maybe no one has info, because there is none to have. We’ve been linked with the same players for 2/3 weeks with no proof of real interest, the longer it goes on the better it is for the selling club.

I know he's alright people.

But... how little the Echo know is a bit painful.

The amount of times Kirkbride has done an 'inside track' piece this summer, which has been contradicted within about 12 hours, are countless.

The best was 'Delph not signed yet, heading over to Switzerland tomorrow' when Delph had been in Switzerland all that day and had signed that morning, with the deal confirmed about 3 hours later.

He is good people but god, I wish he was Greg

Disapointed it seems any sort of Malcom rumours will be over soon.
Wether our interest was correct or not is another thing, but thought he would of really suited our team

It may be better for the buying club. The selling club may need the cash and also want time to get a replacement. It cuts two ways.
