I wouldn't want any of those, but if we are pushing hard for Zouma and it doesn't come off, Silva is left with a snap decision to make based on who can be brought in with hours to go, or bring nobody in. That's the issue with having all your eggs in one basket for a given position. Maybe we are getting encouragement from Zouma privately but that means nothing unless he signs. He isn't going to be concerned about our lack of options if he isn't with us.

He has been very poor pre season, I actually thought the same as you he was going to take his game to another level but not convinced up to now

He's been poor output wise since coming.

He looks visibly boss with his tricks and flicks, but when it comes to actual things that matter, he doesn't deliver.

Him being Brazilian, and also being very aesthetically pleasing, makes him into an Enigma.

At the moment Miralles is more of a goal threat than Bernard, we cant be wasting a forward position in the team to someone who contributes zilch in the goals department
