But if he keeps them up, he will be worth it, they could still accept a lower more realistic fee of 50m next summer. But will he be motivated to give those displays if he stays is the big question?

Well he already isn't attending training on deadline day and after the board reportedly promised him they would sell him if a fair offer was made, I can't imagine he would be very motivated to turn up for them every week. They will have no leverage next summer. I understand he might be the difference between them being relegated or not but I think even without him they are still better than at least four sides.

I hadn't dared to hope that Walcott would be interesting other clubs due to his wages. That would be another big bonus to this potentially awesome window .
