Other than Zouma I'd forget about signing players from Chelsea. They'll probably have a new manager who'll want a look at all of their players, especially the young ones.

We'll get Zouma off them - if we do - because he's been here a season already and he may just tell Chelsea he wants the move. Hence the Echo saying he needs to make it clear. If it's down to the two clubs and the player is ambivalent then we've got little chance.

can we sell some of the posters on the last 10 pages?

buy some quality
It's just not that easy. We'd have to look at getting the cream from lesser forums and there's no guarantee that they'd come good straight away. And then we'd be looking at yet another transitional year on the forum.

And what other forum would have the driftwood from this forum. Again, it's not an easy job.

Pennington
Garbutt
Williams
Jagielka
Baines
Galloway
Martina

McCarthy
Schneiderlin
Vlasic
Baningime
Dowell
Besic

Bolasie
Niasse
Tosun
Mirallas
Sandro
Tarashaj

Possibly Walcott

There's 20 players all on professional contracts who could go without really impacting the first team if we brought in 6 players.

Would not miss a single one of them

Wolswinkel looked class on his debut mate can’t remember who that was against
Didn't that turn out to be something stupid like his only league goal in about 40 appearances or something.?

I seem to recall a certain young Everton player having a stormer in that game. You wouldn't happen to now who that was would you?lol

It was only his only goal in England and for Norwich.

If this forum had any ambition, we’d go for top, top posters and not just hope to strike gold with smaller, lesser investments.

Harsh on Baningime that

Never put a foot wrong when he's had a chance as far as I can recall
He's a bit of a nothing player though isn't he? No stand-out qualities at all, apart from being steady on the ball. Nobody can look at him and say "he's a good midfield enforcer" or "he's a great passer" or "he's got great vision" or "he's excellent at attacking" or "he dictates play" or "he's a big physical presence" or "he's really quick" or anything else really.

Bit harsh that.

The whole team went missing for 3 months.

Fantastic player.
I agree. But the point is, anybody who was specifically looking at Gomes would have seen that, certainly for 10 weeks covering December-February, he lost form. You can't deny that. And it would have put a lot of potential suitors off.
