Their back up Left Back has worked wonders for us, think the same could happen with their back up Right Back.

Chelsea transfer ban and whatnot but how good is Reece James actually? Could he be an option at right back?

Great player. Strong, quick and comfortable on the ball. I think Chelsea see him as having a future with them.

Unfortunately I see him as the risky player we won't go plump a significant amount on. We should have got Bissoume last Summer but noooo, no one listened to me.

He might be great. But again, he's played minimal minutes in Ligue 1. Sangare has played over 4000 minutes of Ligue 1 football. Keep in mind, I think we'd ALL love to see a couple younger prospects with massive upside, but we still have to deal with work permits.

It's not really a Digne situation, though. They just bought him two summers ago for 36M. Not sure why they'd sell for less.

They bought Digne for 18M and sold him 2 years later to us for 23M. Great deal for us, but Semedo is still pretty well regarded I think.

I’d agree he is well regarded but only made 24 league starts in each of the two seasons he’s been there similar to Digne and was benched for the CL semi final, Digne was also well regarded but pushed for the move to get game time, so it’s kinda similar just bigger numbers, £32m in Sterling, would prob need him to push for a move as well. Bit of a moot point though as he’s not linked, sorry @ijjysmith

If Chelsea actually play him (or if he gets a move to another Prem club) I really wouldn't be surprised if he's an England international before the end of the year
