I’m quietly confident that we’ll do some good business in the summer. More so in acquiring up and coming first team ready players who are either on the periphery of a big team or playing in one of the more minor leagues.

We were rumoured,a couple of seasons back. to be after Genk’s Croatian GK...but reports of his being prone to debilitating bouts of homesickness made us wary. Wise imo...we already have Snail and Wisdom moping about the gaff, miserable as Monday...we certainly don’t need any more mummy’s boys.

Zouma was part of the worst defence in the league with Stoke last season. It wasn't entirely obvious that he would be a success at Everton this time last year, let alone ready to start for Chelsea. He definitely looks good enough right now though.

If he is not good enough for Chelsea he would be miles away from starting for us.

Might sound delusional but will be annoyed at Everton if they don't make some big moves this summer. Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and United really don't look anywhere near "elite" and we really shouldn't be embarrassed to be ambitious (CL spots etc.). Whatever though, probably just wishful thinking.
