This is my biggest problem. He came up talking about how they were going to stick to what got them up and then after a couple tough patches went full Big Sam. If he does that again it'll be curtains for his career and a real problem for Schalke.

I think though, he realised quickly last season how awful their squad was, and there was only so much they can do. Although to be honest, when it was obvious they where relegated, he maybe should have tried to play some football at least! Anyway, we will see how he goes on. Schalke's squad is better than Huddersfield, but it still is only a mid table squad in Bundesliga, so they need to be patient with him for a bit. He won't need to revert so much to that style in this league though. And after Tedesco's horrible football, it won't be hard to seem more positive!

I've watched a fair bit of norwich this season and i hope they dont regress from the style they have formed. Sometimes the Premier League can do that to teams, i suppose thats what happens when there is a big step up

I'd swerve too.

He has a ton of talent, but hasn't progressed enough in the last 12 months.

I also question his character. He seems to have a few problems. He was also involved in a car accident in Marrakesh, where he was driving the car, which saw a pedestrian killed. And as posted above, suggestions of a past gambling problem!
Gambling problems are addictive illness and to dismiss anyone on those grounds is not how to treat a mental health issue. Also not every road accident is a drivers fault. A bit condemning mate...

Yet nowhere in the post do I condemn him for his part in the accident or gambling, other than saying he's had problems. So not quite getting your odd reply!

His character question marks are something I'd be more concerned about, he hardly is the best professional, despite his talent. As I said in another post, he'd be a project player, probably not the sort of player a team aiming for Europe should need to buy though.

I agree with this, as a recovering compulsive gambler does this make me less of a blue and so i am dismissed because of it? People need to stop being so judgmental about these things, past issues do not define a persons future.

Unbelievable to think they were in the CL semi final not that long ago. Hope for us all!
