You are looking at 200m for 6 really bang average players, 2 of which are over 30 years old.

I suspect a blind man could spend the money better.

Plus your idea of progressing is allowing Walcott to still play RW for us.

I knew someone would say they are bang average...I'd say we are below bang average right about now and the picture on the horizon doesn't look like it's going to improve....

But hey...I don't own EFC I was just throwing a few things out there on how I would improve the current crop going forward...would like to hear your input?

Dzeko is 33 mate. You can't even spell Rondon's first name name right, why even try man? Big fan of the massive softie, would suit our needs, but is pushing 30. If we sign both we'll have one of the slowest most crossing-dependent strikeforce that will be ineffective 90% of the time. Very Fat Sam of you, as well.

Zaha - sure, makes sense, but is Richarlison levels of inconsistency, which isn't what we should go for in more players.

Zouma won't happen and the Evans shout just screams to me you're clearly on some hard drugs. I suggest rehab.

This is one of the most insane diatribes I've read in a LONG time. Nice work.

Declan Rice is one of the overrated players I've ever seen in my life. Spending 100M let alone 20M on him would be just silly. There are PLENTY of outstanding defensive midfielders in the world that would be cheaper and/or better.

I love Dzeko, that I gotta say, but he's available for 13M right now, so not sure I'd pay more than that unless the rest is going to the poor of Rome.

You don't need Rondon is you have Dzeko, so that makes no sense.

Zaha isn't going for less than 50M and frankly, has zero end product.

Johnny Evans? Johnny Evans? We want to improve, not regress.

BTW, if we are spending anywhere near 100M for a player, his last name better be Chiesa. He wouldn't cost that much, but he's flat out amazing. AMAZING.

I also don't think we can get this mess solved in a single summer window. We are two years away. I think we can get A LOT better though if we are smart.

To me, the most important thing we can do is get better AND more athletic in the middle of the pitch. If we have money to spend, we should be buying and playing players that are not just as skilled, but MORE ATHLETIC than the teams we are playing against. It was comedy watching us chase Almiron around all day. To watch us try and deal with anyone with any level of movement is also comedy. We are not just unathetic, but DUMB.
