But, how many games did Lookman play last season ?
You could as easily say we should have kept Dowell... maybe we should.

We've made some good signings this window, it hasn't worked towards the end from what we can tell but that doesn't mean it's been terrible. It looks pretty clear that a lot of clubs have just avoided the market entirely today and with the types of prices being quoted for massively average players that's not really surprising. I'm not sure what more people want, clearly our main targets towards the end were just priced out of a move to anyone and the alternative would have been the club spending huge amounts on players who people would complain were crap.
