Summer transfer window 2023

Has anybody worked out how we're more skint this year than last?

I'm struggling to compute how selling Anthony Gordon, Moise Kean, ISS, Ellis Simms, Nkounkou and waving goodbye to 310k a week of salaries (Mina, Coady, Vinagre, Davies, Townsend, Begovic) means we somehow have less money than before?
Our owners source of income has been sanctioned dried up.

Dele should be completely off the table considering the fee that it will incur.

I assume that is just premier league matches rather than friendlies.

It's just to get some actual fitness in his legs and hope someone in Saudi Arabia thinks he still plays for Spurs or something. He's not a fit for Dycheball anyway given he always had a free midfield role at Spurs.

Thought there was something in Gray not being involved but he's been playing for Jamaica in last few weeks so nothing in it but him getting extra holiday.

That happened in March 2022 - How did we manage to spunk the £78m on Onana, McNeil, Maupay, Garner and Gueye during the summer

Something stinks about this current situation
Because the longer he goes without cash coming in, the less cash he will have. Hence spending best part of the past year going cap in hand to “investors” to finish the stadium build.

Sold rich, then well gordon money and kean. Just looks like we need a big sale but nobody looks to be sold

There is absolutely no doubt we will go down next season as things currently stand. Keeping Bill on for the interim because he is good at transfers and has contacts is the most ignorant ill informed mistake Moshiri has made since being here, well apart from appointing the waiter. This summer is arguably one of the most important periods of the last couple of decades and was a chance for a proper reset and he has made a complete hash of it once again.

Young players not good enough for us but good enough for Chelsea, trying to sign pensioners, no new signings in for training, having to train and prepare a squad that is worse than last seasons fodder. I will be amazed if Dyche is still in charge in August if it carries on like this because he will have absolutely no chance of keeping us up again with the state it is in.

So this is nothing to with FFP (or whatever the hell it's called now) - It's purely to do with the owner pulling the ladder up?
