Yeah I remember the commentators talking about how he was clearly still hurt but that it just symbolized how desperate Leicester had become. People talked about them losing Schmeichel as being their defensive demise, but it was as much about losing Evans.

Ironically my main concern is the injury record more than his age or speed (which is also a concern). If he’s not available he’s just a cheaper Mina. Though as I type that out maybe that’s the idea.

They conceded 21 goals in 7 matches at the start of last season when he played 90 in all of them
he has 6 clean sheets in 2 PL season
2,400 minutes over those 2 seasons too out of 6,840

So letting mina go and replace with an older player (evans)that potentially could will end up worse than mina...can we not just get mina back please?

Replacing mina with a player whos on far less wages and will play more.

Obviously not as good but as seen with DCL it doesn't matter how good you are if you don't play

Coady would of cost £4.5m, £70k per week and probably would of wanted a three year deal, Evans for a year or two for free and likely on less money is probably the smart move for us, he's left footed as well so adds a bit of balance to the defense.
