Going from signing a "highly promising" young player like EBT to an "older" player like NachoNacho would highlight that we dont really have a plan.

And its not something we should do.

Losing out on players that OTHER clubs want is a good sign, most of the time.

Switching to Nacho cos hes available and cheap, is a pivot we shouldnt make.

It wouldn’t surprise me if that link/interest to Brobbey is real for that exact reason. Same age profile, sounds like he’s good in the air despite being a little shorter. Probably moot because the same report said he didn’t want to leave. Local guy so not too surprising.

Not saying he’s a good target (I’ve never seen him play a second), but my fear is we now chase someone like him for a couple of weeks, it doesn’t come off, and we’re stuck. Hence why some seem anxious to move to a gettable target. But I agree it doesn’t make a lot of sense unless it’s supposed to be in addition.

Yeah the fact that he moved to Germany for a week and got back to Ajax as quick as he could suggests theres not much in this 1 currently.

Hes still young but looks very Anichebe to me.

High ceiling but not on same level as others currently.
