Nailed it lol

He has to be the most frustrating footballer I’m the world … absolutely skins defenders and then kicks the ball out of play
Except against us, set up the winner for wolves last season and their goal in the game we drew with them too if I'm not mistaken. Probably his only contributions all season knowing us.

You say frustrating, I say utter, utter garbage. His career stats are pathetic.
Over his PL career it's basically 1 goal in 20 games and 1 assist every 10!!!!
Every time he got on the ball commentators would raise their voices in anticipation of something happing. They'd be better off making a brew.

Same story as that showpony Newcastle just sold to Saudi Arabia, (1 goal in ten, 1 assist in 6) Listen to the media and you'd swear they're talking about prime Ronaldinho. His PL career stats are more or less exactly the same as Demarai Gray. (slightly worse, infact.)

Gray has been the only Benitez success, but if we make a decent profit on him he needs to move on and be replaced by a player better suited to how Dyche wants to play.

Taking out Traores youth team games, he has a goal or assist in just under every 5 games.

That average would put him fairly high up our list of goal contributions over the past few seasons.

It’s also a slightly better rate than Gray has over his career (but slightly worse than Grays rate for us).

If Gray has been a success then I don’t get writing off that Traore could be. He isn’t a great player, but he is an actual RW and available on a free.

I'd have accepted 15m plus Traore for Gray before the window opened. We need the money and replacing average players with average players while generating funds to invest elsewhere seems like what needs to be done. Get that cart Maupay out next.

I'm only using PL stats, they're the only ones that offer a fair comparison.

I'd be disappointed if we spent wages on him.

There’s a lot of players available Zat

We have 10p to play with though

Cant you hear the whispers in the wind?

Sensationally silly.

What are we thinking...

After Chermiti we should have £10-12mil left from the El Bilal bid.

Move Gray on for £10-12 and were at £20-24mil.

Gbamin perhaps £1mil and Gomes could fetch £5mil from Saudi so £26-30mil.

For that kind of money it may stretch to Iling Junior + Wharton.

Really could do with 2 of Holgate, Godfrey, Keane to be sold to get the cash rolling.

If I'm honest, I was hoping we could get more for Gomes , probably around the £8m mark (that's just my opinion)

Gbamin is a tricky one, considering he is "injured" I'd be happy to take anything for him just to see him go. But at the same time, it infuriates me that we will lose so much money from him. What a waste that was

You know that’s not how transfers work, right? We don’t have the value they go for. We don’t sign for the value they want.
