Just about anyone else.
What is it about Che Adams that impresses you?
The three goals he scores a season?
Everton has other costs besides player purchases. It is not like any money raised through player sales can just be automatically spent on new players. The new stadium does not come for free, money has to come from somewhere.

Some people enjoy strikers who don’t score, there’ll be some blues believing Maupay deserves “a run of games.”
Thinking Onana is not in play if the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea come calling with bids is alehouse logic. If Chelsea or Arsenal want Onana this window he would be a Chelsea or an Arsenal player. It is the same for the vast majority of players at the majority of PL clubsWith all due respect mate, that's pure Alehouse logic. Listen to yourself, trying to construct an argument about age and time spent in tbe prem and which clubs are Interested in which player and being all Paul Merson about it.
Lavia plays for a team that's been relegated, and so is 'in play' right now. Onana doesn't, and has 3 years left on his contract, and so is not 'in play'.
The value of either player only comes to light when they're in play, and this why we know what Lavia might be worth.
No-one's made any bid for Onana, so your guesswork about what he's worth is basically that - an amateur guess.
In the circumstances, with 3 years left and a year in the prem and a young Belgian international, Everton would be crazy to consider anything less than Lavia + 50%, and then see who makes a bid.
IMHO.
He'd be fairly cheap, has Premier League experience, has a profile that matches our system.
1. "We" have 72m, we likely arent spending much of any of it on players. Theres a difference. Moshiri has money he could spend, but hes going to choose not to. There really isnt a "we" in finances when the owner has decided he wants an exit strategy in the next couple of years.1. We clearly don’t have £72m
2. We don’t “have no plans to spend”
Because Everton Football Club has financial commitments outside of the 1st team players. All costs have to be covered by the revenue generated by Everton and not just the costs that keep the fans happyWhy not?
All of that is true.
What about the way he plays footy makes you think he's worth signing?
Genuinely looking forward to the case you put forward for us signing a three goal a season striker.
Agree, we have the money, whether we spend it is another matter.1. "We" have 72m, we likely arent spending much of any of it on players. Theres a difference. Moshiri has money he could spend, but hes going to choose not to. There really isnt a "we" in finances when the owner has decided he wants an exit strategy in the next couple of years.
2. The loans and frees would disagree. 3 of the 4 players we have brought in wont be here in a year.
What about scoring goals? He has a decent profile in terms of holding up the ball, spreading defenders and making space for other players to run into.
Yeah, probably have to settle on 30-35 plus McTominay (if they value McTom at 45 then 75-80 is probably right for Onana) but if the cash gets us over the line for Gnonto and a proper striker like a Beto WITH an oven ready Onana replacement, you probably have to think about it.We really aren’t getting £50 million plus McTominay.
