Dobbin isn't ready IMO. Plenty of potential, but not ready to be relied on yet.

Selling Iwobi and Gray and replacing them with a specialist right winger plus a more cultured option at centre mid would make sense.

Dobbin may be ready in 12 months to step into the Danjuma spot when his loan is over

I think if Dobbin is one of 4 wide players (after hopefully selling Iwobi/Gray) then when all are fit its a 4th choice option.

We also need to develop him as only McNeil and him will be contracted next season of all the wide/attacking mids.

Dobbin must have had about 20 goes at trying to get past Semedo and achieved it once, he is miles off atm, just lots of pace.

Back in the day, the likes of Cadamarteri and Branch make a decent living for us based on pace alone.

I think Semedo had him in his pocket. But the fact is that it was his first start and he'll only improve with games -- Semedo should have been off as Dobbin never stopped.

Ings can only get Beto

.…always think of him as a ‘clever’ striker, running off the shoulders of defenders and getting in behind. He’s slow, so I don’t see him being effective on the counter attack. Wouldn’t fit the Dyche stereotype but has obvioysly played for him before. I’d be mostly concerned with his injury record.

The late window sale of a regular starting XI player, preferably a fan boo boy, with no time to replace them is an Everton tradition like no other under Moshiri and Kenwright.

The one thing you would give him is he would've scored at least a couple of the chances we have created so far.
But, yes, injury/age/wages together would be a concern. If Beto and Chermiti can take pressure off starting Dom then we should have enough capable of converting, shouldn't be spending what funds/loan spots we have left on Ings imo.

Doucoure not Dacoure
Chermiti not Chimitti

Iwobi is an 8. Plays there for Nigeria. Was at his best for us playing there under Lampard. Our best CM3 is Garner 6 and Iwobi, Onana as twin 8s with Onana the power runner and Iwobi the creative force. IMO.

That leaves 3 from McNeil, Harrison, Danjuma, Chermiti, DCL, Beto in a front 3 (possibly with Dobbin, Cannon kept for injury cover, cup ties).

Nigeria have frequently dropped Iwobi and their fans a year ago (and beyond) were posting online that he was awful.

He (like Gana and Doucoure) have no positional sense. Imagine having Garner on the right looking lost and a liability defensively...thats what we would see with Iwobi -- huge gaps.

Also, why use Onana as a CM when he's only ever played there for us? He's a DM.

I believe that Gnonto was being looked at as a Support Striker to remove Doucoure and add some technical ability ahead of Onana (and Garner once Dyche realises Gana is dreadful).

Iwobi is a poor player and needs to be punted to oblivion.

On the wane really isn't he - 2 goals for West Ham.

Seems like we have 3 strikers in Beto, DCL, Kermit - then 2 sort of strikers in Danjuma and Maupay.

Would rather a CB or winger than Ings at this point

Genk midfielder Mike Tresor Ndayishimiye has refused to rule out a move to Premier League side Burnley in the ongoing 2023 summer transfer window.

The Belgian-born player of Rwandan and Burundian parentage netted eight goals and set up another 24 to win the Ebony Shoe award and the Pro players player of the year award for 2023 in the Belgian Jupiler League.

Newly-promoted English Premier League side Burnley are interested in signing him and their manager Vincent Kompany admires his quality.

Ndayishimiye says it would be great to feature for the Clarets as he likes their system of play.

"I have learned that he (Kompany) appreciates my qualities. Of course, that is nice to hear," Ndayishimiye told Belgian portal Het Laatste Nieuws.

"Burnley plays with a certain philosophy in which I would feel good. For me, playing style has always been important when choosing a club," he added

Ndayishimiye is also said to be on the wanted list of Everton as well as Bournemouth

We lost him when he said “ playing style is important to me”
