Exactly. No joke I don't understand the fume around Iwobi leaving, he looks alright, not good, not great but alright in literally the worst team to not be relegated in the Premier League. Our worst ever team has Iwobi as one of our better players. It's no wonder we're in the position we're in if that's the case, fans talking about accepting mediocrity and then at the same time crying over Iwobi.

One of the most easily replaced players in the squad, want someone central, get a coward that pulls out of tackles and runs around, might as well re-sign Tom Davies, want someone on the wing, get a lad who can't cross the ball or beat a defender, who's only ability is stupid skill moves that don't come off, go re-sign Bolasie who's playing in the Turkish second division.

Genuinely Iwobi offers absolutely nothing unique to this team that any other player playing in his position wouldn't have. 6 goals and 11 assists in his entire career here, I don't care if you think he's a winger, a central midfielder or a bloody centre half, those are diabolical stats no matter what way you slice it, those are the only stats that matter. If he really was such a creative genius that people are making out he is then a bigger club than Fulham would be after him. If his stats were really so impressive then Brighton and Brentford would be all over him as that's their entire scouting strategy, the truth is though anyone can see he's an awful player, even if stats hide it slightly.

We can argue all day long about his stats, best position, etc. but if he doesn't want to sign the new contract, then there's only one thing to think about: can we get money for him this year rather than nothing next year when he leaves on a free? If that's a yes, then it's a no-brainer.

He may be bad at football but he never pulled out of a tackle, much more likely to mistime it and get booked!

The greatest stats based footballer in the world got a whopping 4 assists and 2 goals more than Cornet last year in literally 6x the minutes.
Cornet is a depth signing that'd play for us, it is what it is, but anyone crying about Iwobi being leaving seriously need to get themselves checked out, he's a tragic footballer. This was literally his best ever season too, and Cornet's worst.

At this point £10m for Iwobi is theft, £20m + add ons, ridiculous price if it's real. Genuinely better business than selling Gordon for £45m.

Forgive me if I rank PL assists higher than those against, let me check, Viborg, Silkeborg and Steau Bucharest. Woooo.
