Fantastic man management to remove him from the first team squad, not have him train, but then not manage to sell him either, whilst losing 3 on the bounce without a goal.

In an era of total mismanagement, this has been shambolic even for us.

Lets assume 3 leave, that leaves us with 26, plus young players.

We arent short on numbers, quality, for sure.

That is almost 26 as Maupay, Iwobi and Cannon are all nearing the exit door.
And that 26 still includes Gomes, Gbamin and Gray. Honestly cant see a way back for Gray / Gbamin even if no move would come off.
Gomes maybe as a squad player as he did feature in pre season.
23 leaves us a bit short i would say.

£31.5million is chicken feed now. In relative terms, at least.

We were spending that on mediocre players a decade ago.

A decade ago Everton’s biggest spend was about 12 mil on fellaini.
