Hilarious how we make offered for Gnoto though. Surely deadline day would have been better spent going after targets who haven’t told us ‘we are not selling him to you, under any circumstances’. Move on.
 

We need to reinvest some of the money gained from sales.

Critical positions going into the window…

CF- covered with Beto/DCL/Danjuma/Chermiti. No longer a priority.

Winger/wide midfielders - Danjuma, McNeil, Harrison, Dobbin. Need coverage on the right. Cannot include Garner here..

Midfield - Doucs, Gueye, Onana, Garner. Need coverage here. Someone who can maintain possession and make a direct pass.

fullbacks - young, Patterson, mykolenko, Coleman, garner. I imagine we stand firm here and are banking on Coleman’s return. Hopefully we see improvement from Myko and Patterson.

CB - branthwaite, tarks, Keane, Godfrey. We need to sign someone here and prioritize sending out Godfrey IMO. One injury to either starters and it’s going to be a nightmare.

They use him to manage the narrative and the narrative is, we only went after top targets(unavailable) and we didn’t get them

We brought in some loans, a deferred payment signing and a free whilst cashing in wherever they could

We’ve seen this before
 

I'm glad we purged some crap players but our squad is incredibly thin and we already have extensive injuries hope someone is brought in even though it sounds unlikely
