AgreedFor me 28 is too old for us to spend any money on, the mess we're in is from signing guys in their late 20s for big fees that we'll never recoup. 25/26 should be the limit if you're going to get any sell-on value. Did it right last summer- spent money on players 25 or less and took older guys on frees and loans. I don't know if that's a policy but it should be.

Brands said previously that he'd rather pay a little extra in fee for younger player with sell on value as well as being on a lower wage, think he was spot on but too many chefs spoilt the broth there
