You've had loads of windows saying we would sign players and we didn't, most recently this January. Yes, Matty doomloops too much but you are the anti-Matty where everything is super awesome all the time. You're both equally mental.

We'll sign 5/6 players at the very minimum, we have too.
2 loans, 2 permanent and maybe 2 free.
Priority is a LB, 2 strikers and a RW.
I also think we need a backup CM and a creative Midfielder too.

That's before we even consider potentially selling Onana, Gray or Simms. If they go (which is likely) we'll need to replace those too.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we end up bringing Barkley back as Tom Davies replacement. I think we're in that bad a position and until we may a couple more sales we are knackered.

It's not like we were missing chances left right and centre, those chances just didnt exist.
