Any thoughts on Rodrigo?

13 Goals last season and available for 3-5m? Wouldn't say no but I think we need two more like in thost Attacking positions.
He’d be a step forward but only if we got him on a sensible wage, i.e. not the crackers bunce we’ve thrown at every other lesser light we’ve recruited in the last twenty years.

Ofc you finish higher if you spend it the right way but that is easy to say is always a chance even if you think a player will adapt. I was one of them people if we would have went down i would have questioned if he was the right manager to take us forward next season which is fair. Then with the dof first was at the summer window most of us felt he left us short, then again jan he had his part to play. Yes he had his hands tied but we bought nothing in he played his part in that. Then to finish if you think this fanbase has no patience that is wrong, we all see we have a long way to go to improve this team, we all just want to see the club run correctly, have a manager in charger for a long period of time to make the club stable, see the youth team get player into the first team and sell some. We all just want to see a plan style of play now, is not a quick fix that again throwing money will fix

Im not knocking the fans as ultimately we're a big club therefore expectations will always be at a higher level than clubs like Brighton and Brentford who if they got relegated tomorrow the vast majority would simply be happy with memories of being a decent PL side whereas some of our lot on ere were borderline depressed/on the edge at the thought of going down.

Its ultimately a cultural thing - Everton/Evertonians are more demanding than Brighton/their fans which is why its very difficult to replicate one clubs entire philosophy/system to that of another.

In general I cant think of a single club who's had more protest movements than ours over the years - BU, KEIOC, 27 Years, all together now etc. yet outside the top 6 very few sides have won trophies/qualify for europe to argue that we've had it drastically worse than clubs of similar stature.

What's going on with Rodrigo? Heard there's something but haven't seen anything concrete.

There is something concrete mate.
Glad to help

He’s bang average. If he didn’t score from free kicks nobody would mention him
And he will be looking for one last payday. Saints fans think he will be going to a Champs League team, I can't see any team in the top half of PL wanting him and nor can I see any team in the bottom half being able to justify the fee and wages. I think he will be playing Championship next season unless Saints sell him on the very cheap late in the window to get him off the payroll
