Why haven't we moved for Joel Piroe, 40 goals in 2 Championship seasons is not to shabby. The lad certainly knows we're the net is, and for £10mil not to much of a risk or maybe £5mil if Simms goes the other way. Better than wasting money on the likes of Troure.

We may well do. But although Piroe's goal numbers are decent people who've watched more of him than I have seem to think his all round game isn't on a par with someone like Gyokeres. My concern is maybe that means he isn't that big an upgrade on Simms, who'll also get goals at that level but maybe doesn't have the all round contribution for the PL.

I can't think of another club that thinks one(injury prone) number nine of standard is enough its not enough in any sense especially now you can make five subs. Look how many strikers/genuine goal scorers other clubs have.

I wish Everton would put in a bid for Gyokeres. It seems he has set his heart on going to Sporting Lisbon and they are starting to take the p*ss. We need a top flight club to pull their finger out and put a bid in.
