This lad was up for player of the season in Ligue 2 last year despite only signing for Saint Etienne in January and we were delighted to get rid of him for nothing despite watching Mykolenko every week who cost £20m+.

This club just never learns. 4 left backs have left the club in the past 2 years, 1 European level and 3 highly rated prospects that were never given a chance. In that same time we’ve got probably the worst footballing left back across Europe’s top leagues and no backup in that position.

We’re an insane club.

And was shocking at cardiff could have went either way, still have to think what league he is in and we still made money on him. Also agree with the club letting lb go they must bring one in who can fight gor the starting position.

Cracking player and why nobody ever took the gamble on him at an earlier age I'll never understand.

Honestly just no point stressing anymore is there we are such a horrific parody while other clubs sail away we just become more of a irrelevance and self parody with every year. This club has been run catastrophically for over a decade (arguably longer) why do we expect it to be any different with the same clowns in charge. This is actually hilarious in more ways than one. Us looking for Walcott, Barkley and Young on frees and a combined age of like over 100 is an utter disgrace. Even worse though the 3 of them probably start for us at this point.

When I was advocating for us going for free agent signings this wasn’t exactly the calibre of player I was hoping for.
