We do need an Gana replacement with his ages.
Fully agree. Just think we’ll try and get another season out of him, and I’d rather we add a more attack minded player if we have to decide between the two…not that Onana is particularly attack minded either

Dont forget the Kean money too from Juventus. 70 million just went poof and we need to sell more?

Pretty sure the Kean money went to clear what we paid for him. Bought for £30mill, sold back 2 years later for £25mill plus loan fees. We made zero off that.

Richy £60mill money went on the 2021/2022 balance sheet which still reported a £40mill loss.

We then spent the Richy money in the summer. The Gordon money will have gone to balance that debt too.

So financially we're still either on a small loss or breaking even. We can't afford to have a loss on the 2022/23 books...so we need to sell.

And no doubt not spend all of what fees we get too

What your thoughts on Jurásek if you could say a player was similar to.
Hard to say, he seems to be a pretty complete player, his biggest weakness may be the defensive side, but he has really solid crossing, decent dribbling and tries to get into the box a lot as a left-back. So maybe a little bit like young left-footed Coleman with a better crossing. Surely the best Czech LB since Marek Jankulovski. :)

Thanks so could be helped with mcneil on that side thanks still dont kno if is even true. Esp with bobble saying no moves been made and that martin the free lb has chosen to go another club

Take it the Gordon money has been swallowed up then? Shambles if so.
Yes from what he said it's frees /loans and a few purchases if we are lucky. Also sounds like we have a tiny budget and not the biggest wages to offer. We are relying on selling your Simms, Maupay et al we have scouted around ten players in the positions of need but can we afford any of them right now? Doesn't sound like it.

Aaron Martin has signed for Genoa, so likely have to use a big chunk of our £15-20m to sign a left back now.

Guessing we'll end up with Charlie Taylor 😔

I think it sounds like they expect us to be gazumped in almost every deal. Already felt negative about this window and a summer with Dyche in charge. Feeling even worse about it after listening to that. No confidence whatsoever.

Also really worried me that they said that we panic bought Maupay because we couldn't get a cheap enough deal for Che Adams!!! 🤮🤮

Whoever makes these decisions is absolutely clueless - either would have been an awful signing.
