If they sell Iwobi, Cannon and let Maupay go out on loan and don’t bring any players in today at all, then that surpasses any previous bad transfer deadline days.

Yes we signed Beto, Chermiti and brought Danjuma and Harrison in on loan, but there are so many other areas we need more quality.

Patterson,Mykolenko, Keane and unfortunately Godfrey aren’t fit for purpose any more.

Then there is Gomes, Gbamin and Alli, all sucking money out of the club and giving nothing back in return.

The club are gambling with our PL status again. They really are the most impotent and useless owners and board of a football club possible.

It is dead though because Sinisterra had a loan release clause in his contract so they can't stop him going. Plus, they know we will never meet their valuation for Gnonto.

I guess the question becomes, why would an owner who is intending on selling the club, do anything other than the absolute bare minimum required to maybe keep the club in the league so that he can sell.

I think expecting that Iwobi money to be spent on a replacement is probably extremely naive.

Because he needs the club to be a Premiership club
