Yep wages would be the sticking point. He's a good experienced pro but would probably want first team football.Lindelof on a free as good experienced cover at the back?
Moyes seems to be in favour.
Can cover a few roles, would have to take a pay cut no doubt.

Not every old player is a shirker, some of our best players have been free transfers from bigger clubs. Lindeloth is a wholehearted player who will try his hardest whoever he plays for, but it won't be us.Personally wouldn't touch anything in that United team, would rather have younger more hungry players, not consider players on high wages who would more than likely treat us as a step down.
Plus he looks like the type of player who would end up in the treatment room more than on the pitch for us. We've had more than enough of these type of players.Personally wouldn't touch anything in that United team, would rather have younger more hungry players, not consider players on high wages who would more than likely treat us as a step down.
I wouldn't expect anything yet, we still need to sort the management structure.Any links? Anything at all?
All good providing we had a decent striker too - which we don'tAlcarez in the middle, ndiaye and a fast winger and we would look a whole different team. The amount of times we had the chance to counter and Harrison and doucoure were useless
Too old , too overpaid and too injuredNot every old player is a shirker, some of our best players have been free transfers from bigger clubs. Lindeloth is a wholehearted player who will try his hardest whoever he plays for, but it won't be us.
Why sell Beto? He offers something different.1 rapid winger, Alcaraz and as good a striker as we can get and our attack is revolutionised. That must be our starting point, as attack is clearly and obviously our weak area.
Then we work from there: CM who can pass the ball, a genuine RB that can cross, a proper LB, and another striker with promise to bolster the ranks.
New contracst to Gueye and Virginia, send all others packing. Try to get Beto out for £15-20m.
100%. I'd have taken McTominay, and it's no surprise to me that he's flourishing over in Italy.Personally wouldn't touch anything in that United team, would rather have younger more hungry players, not consider players on high wages who would more than likely treat us as a step down.
He'd walk into the 'kin door frame.Step 1: harrison out the door.
