Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

1 rapid winger, Alcaraz and as good a striker as we can get and our attack is revolutionised. That must be our starting point, as attack is clearly and obviously our weak area.

Then we work from there: CM who can pass the ball, a genuine RB that can cross, a proper LB, and another striker with promise to bolster the ranks.

New contracst to Gueye and Virginia, send all others packing. Try to get Beto out for £15-20m.

Personally wouldn't touch anything in that United team, would rather have younger more hungry players, not consider players on high wages who would more than likely treat us as a step down.
Not every old player is a shirker, some of our best players have been free transfers from bigger clubs. Lindeloth is a wholehearted player who will try his hardest whoever he plays for, but it won't be us.

Plus he looks like the type of player who would end up in the treatment room more than on the pitch for us. We've had more than enough of these type of players.

Any links? Anything at all?
I wouldn't expect anything yet, we still need to sort the management structure.

Was an interesting podcast earlier this week from the Blue Room, Paddy Boyland explaining the structure they are going to create; rather than a Director of Football overseeing everything there would be specialist positions and we hope to have them all done by May.

Sounds like it will be more of a team deciding on targets rather than just one person which sounds sensible.

I'd take everything with a pinch of salt until then, should lead to a fun summer though

Why sell Beto? He offers something different.

Doesn't mean he has to be the main striker or anything but we will need options. He is a perfectly fine squad player.
