At this point I’d rather be back in for Duncan Ferguson than Evan Ferguson. Are we back in For Evan Ferguson?
I’ve got a mate who’s a hammers fan. I told him what to wish for post Moyes era. I said he’s won you a trophy, got you decent positions in the league, do you honestly think top 4 is attainable with a new manager. He now acknowledges he was wrong.Oh boy we’re on to pretending it’s Moyes’ fault West Ham are crap now that we’ve run out of Everton related things to slate him for.
It is indeed where the trade go.
Why? Maybe West Ham aren't playing to his strengths? Also, just come back from an injuryHopefully not
I was just making a point about potentially slightly improving your team for a lot of cost.Out of all our strikers if fit, Broja would be my last choice to start.
Honestly dont know what many see in him
convenient all the bad buys weren’t moyes’s faultSoucek and Coufel have been brilliant signings for the money spent.
Kudus and Bowen have developed into Champions League calibre players, Paqueta as well.
Benrama was ok - apparently Moyes wanted Eze and Watkins but the powers that be went with Benrama instead.
Cornet suffered injuries and never found is Burnley form. Zouma was excellent for Everton and started off well for West Ham until knee injuries derailed his career. The medical team could be questioned for those signings.
Ings was an awful signing but apparently this was a chairman signing.
Vlasic was a terrible signing that's on Moyes.
The likes of Scamacca, Mavropanus, Aguerd and Alvarez were bought by Director of Football who has subsequently been sacked.
Moyes wanted Maguire (he would have been an excellent signing in their low block) but they bought Mavropanus and he wanted McTominy/Gallagher for their athleticism. They bought Ward-Prowse and Alvarez instead.
He also brought in Dawson for a nominal fee and he did a fantastic job for them.
Some poor signings in there for sure and Moyes is partly to blame but by not backing him they missed out on Eze (from QPR) and Watkins (from Brentford) who would have nicely complemented Bowen all from the Championship.

True but then what about his recruitment when he was with us the first time around, for the most part that was bloody good, right? Maybe we should give him a very small budget? He would yes, because he’s a good football manager. Don’t think anyone is saying otherwise. That doesn’t mean his recruitment has been good. Look at the improvement he’s made here in a short space of time with what people have described as a poor squad. The issue is recruitment. If that money at West Ham had been spent far better, what would he have achieved? Getting the most out of an average squad doesn’t excuse wasting hundreds of millions on average players.
Ah, the old "the manager bought all of the good players and the DoF/chairman/owner bought all the bad ones" argument again. It's a classic.Soucek and Coufel have been brilliant signings for the money spent.

Two reasons. Why? Maybe West Ham aren't playing to his strengths? Also, just come back from an injury
I haven't seen any6from his at Ham, but do recall him in the past at Brighton, and looked the real deal
A year ago most here wouldn't have blinked at signing Ferguson for 45 million. Now, suddenly, at 20 years of age, he is already spoiled goods.
