It's crazy that they might have to sell due to psr while the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea throw what seems like almost unlimited amounts on wages and transfers with zero repercussions with psr

Many of our team are not as short as you would think, I just think a few are not that great in the air but its understandable as modern football is being pushed away from heading the ball too much for obvious reasons.

Probably, but you know what you're getting with Soucek. Hes probably worth 10-15. If Gueye and Doucoure both go we need at least one proven solid midfielder. Can't go into next season with garner as our most senior midfielder.

There are also solid proven midfielders under 30 that we could get for that price.

I actually don't think there's all that many out there because clubs tend to not sell their good players under 30.

It's not ideal or a good signing. But hopefully we'd be signing a decent midfielder alongside him.

I think we're a big team. Of the normal first eleven, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, O'Brien and Beto all huge. Mykolenko and Doucoure handy. That's bigger than most of the opposition to the point we should have a big man spare on set pieces more than we do (thanks Charlie Adams).

I know we've got a few short arses too but not where it matters.

Another tall player could help but I wouldn't over pay for Soucek.

Weird take that tbh, more than half are 6ft plus.

Can't be spending big money (for us) on guys the wrong side of 28, just because they can do a job.

If we're paying folding money for that age, they have to be bringing a lot to the squad.

Ollie Skipp went for over 20 million this summer. Which half decent under 30 proven centre mids do you see as available this summer for 20 mil?

Because none went for less than that this past summer.
