I just think Alcaraz at that price is a fair bet to at least be competent depth, with plenty of potential, I'd argue even likelihood to usurp that clause price. I wish we'd have seen some more run but I think a really powerful ball carrier with a knack for link up, decent goal scoring prowess and just general pitch workrate is in there.

He & Fernandes at Southampton are both technically gifted young attacking midfielders.

Fernandes was signed for £15mil and El Khannouss was £21mil. I expect they'd go for a profit.

Both more expensive than Alcaraz who is available for €15mil.

If Moyes isnt playing Alcaraz then its unlikely he'd sign either of the other two.

Be good have a range of wingers with different skill sets, does look worth a try for the lad.

Will keep him for the championship and prob be alot better that league then would say be better when cones up the season after. Be on a long deal aswell

Did do a deal for yobo who was a decent signing for us in the past from france so maybe again with this lad

See Martin Samuel suggesting that if Delap’s agent has any sense, he’d punt him to a “stepping stone” club for two seasons where he’d get regular starts than a “premier” club where he’d get the occasional cup game as an understudy to the main striker.
WTF, I’ve never considered us as a stepping stone but …
