I think if you are being really ruthless youre cutting adrift lads like Myko, Paterson and Garner - they struggle at the level Chelsea are at and if you want to to compete with those clubs you have to have those lads out of your team or squad.

He is good defensively and in the big games is effective at shutting wingers out, just not a threat with his deliveries or when linking up. Has improved a bit in that under Moyes, but we need another option to rotate/fight for the shirt for me.

Forest are the example for me, two rapid wingers and mobile playmakers behind them and a reliable goal scorer. They have raw pace that can frighten even the best teams. We have not recruited this for whatever reason for years.
