I’ll mainly be cooking today. A bolognese sauce for tomorrow and some marinated lamb chops for dinner tonight.

It was my day out yesterday. 18 holes of golf in the morning then went to watch my local team beat Skelmersdale, then a couple of beers afterwards, finished off with an Indian takeaway last night.

Busy so far, got up and drove for the Mrs's paper, 4 degrees and felt like it. Came home and bit the bullet and drained combi boiler down and recharged pressure vessell as I noticed pressure was way up after its "summer" lay off. Just having my toast now whilst nipping in and out of garage checking it, seems happy now at 1.5bar constant after bleeding it through with fresh inhibitor added, Nip to the farm shop later for some veg for the roast and we'll have a walk at the same time across the fields. Hoping to clear veg patch of all the finished plants and tidy it up if weather holds up. I does feel very much later than September here I have to say.

Doing some housework to earn some brownie points. Helping out with dinner prep, then settling down to watch spuds match with my eldest (he’s spurs, god help him) and then having a night on the birra moretti cos I’ve booked tomorrow off work. Lovely jubbly.
