It's not useless he's just too relient on young players who aren't the finished article and expects them to be winning silverware.

The majority of that arsenal squad will be top class in 3 years time. But for the time being there's nothing wrong in havin experience ready made world class players in there helping them out.

Their problem is that they have been two or three years away from winning things for the past two or three years, and the faults in the way the side play are not because of the young players, but because of the way they are set up and the calibre of certain players in key positions.

They need a striker worthy of the name - playing three identical players up front, none of whom are strikers, is daft - and a decent goalkeeper (Almunia is awful, by far the worst keeper in the Sky 4 and probably the worst in the top 10), and a non-******** central defender (Gallas would probably start a fight in an empty room) wouldnt go amiss.

Of course people have been saying it for seasons because years ago they were 17 or 18. Now they're 20/22 but your Walcotts, Bendtners, Velas etc won't reach a peak till their 25 or so. It's these players he's relying on over available players he could by like say a Van Der Vaart or even a robbie keane for eg which is his downfall

Wenger football is beautiful to watch. I don't care for him whinging so much but apart from thinking Bendtner is a player he does well with his youngsters. Free flowing attacking football beats Blackburn's 11 men behind the ball away from home mentality any day.

This may well be the fifth year that Arsenal go without a trophy.

Wasn't the last one when United whipped them in the FA cup final, and the North LOndoners somehow stole it on a penalty shoot out.

That's the one.

Hands up anyone who knows who (without reference :dodgy:) the last arsenal manager interim/full time was before Wenger.

Sometimes I wonder if Wenger is a genius because he could get as high as 3rd in the prem with Alumnia. Sometimes I wonder if Wenger is a doofus because he actually thinks he could win a trophy with Alumnia.

Granted Chelsea will probably win a title with an average keeper but at he's AVERAGE. Alumnia is the worst starting keeper in the prem and the gap between Alumnia and the 19th best isn't even close. How much would a semi-competent veteran keeper a like a Swartzer, Jussi, David James, or Sorensen cost? Hell Portsmouth would have flogged off James for free to get him off the books.

That's the difference between Sir Alex and Wenger. Sir Alex will recongize a problem and correct it. Wenger never corrects his errors its probably cost him at least 2 titles and maybe a few other trophies.

I bet the Kopites are choking on their ale watching this, desperately willing Chelsea to stop United getting #19.

They'll be shaking like shitting dogs for the next four months.

We have a good chance

I have ****ged Nani off in the past (with good cause I might add)

Last 3 games he has come of age good on the lad and good of Fergie for sticking by him
