Early days they talk the talk and tbh what they've said Isn't nothing we didn't know already. The wage bill is far too high for this league and big earners have to go before we really get going with bringing players in. McNair was sold today for 5m'ish hopefully Ndonkey, Kone, Djilobodji, Khazri, Oviedo, Cattermole and Chodwell will soon be off the clubs books.

Juan Sartori (son in law of the owner of Monaco) recently bought into the club and they haven't ruled out family involvement at some point

The feel good factor is most certainly still there that might change by Christmas lol

2018

No. Top tier was closed. New owners and new beginning, and despite being in the 3rd division, there is a lot of optimism about
I'm happy enough. The owners have helped give us the club back. Feel part of it again. This season For me wasn't all about going back up, but making a good go of it. We still have a massive wage bill which is killing us.

However, we have made some money from sales and are averaging over 30k so we should with the resources we have be up there. If we dont go up then next year is the big year for me and anything other than promotion would be a failure. This year were in such a mess it was always going to be hard.

As for the top flight, we will return one day, but it could be a while off, just depends on investment if we do get to the championship. The owners have said that there is money for The championship and premier, but we shouldn't have to spend a lot to get out of league one.

Maja will be a big loss, mind.
Would have taken it. To be honest before the new owners came I really thought we would go down again. The club was a mess.

I would have been happy just getting playoffs at the start of the season, but I really think we have a squad that should go up. If we dont then the manager has to be looked at.

However, will judge in may.
lol

I am only just getting around to watching sunderland till i die the last few days [sure ive watched a few of the 1st series in the past but cant remember lol] - its not bad to be fair, now on episode 2 of season 2 [going to watch the spurs one when thats out as well]

Salary cap, crying.

Basically cancels any chance of a lucrative takeover and now makes their decision to gut the academy even more stupid.

Donald and Methven you beauties
