McCarthy isn't even pressing anymore, he doesn't offer a forward pass, he can't keep the ball and he's no longer winning the ball. What's the point in playing him?

Him and Cleverley together in a midfield is truly awful. They really do absolutely nothing.

The issue I have with that is that Cleverley is SUPPOSEDLY playing on the wing, but just keeps going wherever he wants, to be awful in other positions.
