I think Holgate will play a fair bit this season regardless of Coleman being fit.
I'd be happy with either starting tomorrow to be honest, I just think he will slot Coleman back in as the senior player.

Agreed. Holgate is deffo one for the future, but he's still good enough at the min to cover right back or centre half when required. Hopefully he's happy doing that

Defence is functioning well, think Coleman needs to fight his way back in rather than just dropping Holgate. Holgate will dip at some point like all young players then we can rest him without denying his confidence.

PS I too use magnesium supplements but avoid the citrate salt due to its laxative propensity
